It Band Stretching is Essential

I get IT band pain when I run downhill and the only thing that has worked is to be consistent with a simple IT band stretch. I like the one you do standing, crossing one foot over the other and leaning sideways. It's easy and I don't forget to do it. I usually add a standing groin stretch at the same time to keep things balanced. It works great.

Hamstrings, hamstrings, hamstrings

Runners are notorious for having tight hammies. I stretch mine daily and haven't had any injuries or tightness in years. Just go slow and don't bounce!
