My Favorite Home Fitness Equipment
I bought a doorway chin up bar on a whim at the drugstore. I always wanted to be able to do one pull up and I finally found a way to make sure I work at this every day. I'm over forty now, and to work up to doing pull ups, I thought was impossible. Well, as it turns out two weeks after I got this doorway chinning bar, I am happy to report I did my first full pull up!
Why It's My Favorite
I love this little equipment item. It's small, portable and it taunts me every time I walk under it from my bedroom to the living room. Too cool. It's also pretty inexpensive. You can do a variety of pull ups and put it on the ground for push ups and dips. At 40+, it's really all I need and works great. I also like to just "hang" on it and stretch out my shoulders and torso.
Advice
- I don't have much space for more than this in my "home gym" so it's prefect. I use this for upper body exercise and then either walk, run or bike for my cardio.
