I was hesitant to buy a pair of Crocs because, well, face it, they look funny. Once I tried them on, however, I realized that these are possibly the most comfortable after-sport sandals I have ever worn.

Pros

The Crocs Cayman is comfortable, cool, and molds to your feet with an orthotic foot bed. They have great ventilation, and a slip-resistant sole. They are anti-microbial and odor resistant, and come in a large selection of bright colors. They are best suited to wearing on the beach. A swivel heel strap can be rolled forward or back, depending on your needs. Best of all -- they float!

Cons

The Crocs have an annoying habit of building up static** and attracting grass and thorns and other debris. I've picked up quite a few slivers from my Crocs over the years. I still like them, especially after cycling or running, when my feet need some cushion, but I am careful about the environment and watch out for thorns.

** Apparently, some hospitals in Sweden and Canada have banned the shoes due to the static problem. See Google News Reports about Crocs and Static.
