Background and Accomplishments:
Jeremy Wariner is a two-time Olympic gold medalist from Baylor University who will represent the United States track team in Beijing China in teh 2008 Olympic Games. The Texas native receives guidance from another 400m great, his mentor and agent, Michael Johnson. Jeremy says he plans to break Johnson’s 400m world record of 43.18 seconds during the Beijing games.
Known For:
Jeremy is hard to miss on the track. He races in diamond earrings and sunglasses, even at night. He also has his nickname, "Pookie," embroidered on his racing spikes.
Other Interests:
An avid golfer and car enthusiast, Jeremy drives a 2007 Mercedes with a V12 engine and a 2006 Lincoln Navigator featuring 26-inch rims that he describes as his "show car."
