How Serious is a Sprain?
Sprains can vary in severity, but home treatment often the best course of action.

The following signs indicate a sprain that should be seen by your doctor:

  • Severe pain
  • You can not put any weight on the injured joint.
  • Point Tenderness at the joint.
  • You can not move the injured joint.
  • Numbness in the injured area.
  • Red streaks spread out from the injury.
  • Re-injury to that same arear.
  • Pain, swelling, or redness over a bony part of your foot.
  • You question the seriousness of your injury.
