How Serious are Blisters?
Most blisters can be cared for at home.

If you get a blister, the goal is to want to relieve pain, keep the blister from enlarging, and avoid infection. If your blister becomes infected, you should be seen and treated by your doctor.

Signs of infection include pus draining from the blister, very red or warm skin around the blister, and red streaks leading away from the blister. Most blisters need minor hme treatment to heal properly.
