Athletic Body in Balance is the first guide of its kind to show you how to train for smooth, fluid movement and prevent muscle imbalances, mobility restrictions, stability problems, and injuries.

Physical therapist and sports conditioning expert Gray Cook has developed a whole new approach to sports performance training. His methods have been used in the NFL, NBA, NHL, WNBA, and Reebok® University’s sports training system. The basis for his approach to athletic performance is to focus on core balance and power. He helps athletes identify functional weaknesses and correct these imbalances before building specific skills needed for movements required for specific sports including jumping, kicking, cutting, and turning.

Unlike other programs that focus soley on building strength or developing endurence, Athletic Body in Balance focuses on identifying breakdowns of core balance and developing a strong foundation on which to make long-term performance gains. He also addresses maintaining what you gain and continually building on those gains.

A very nice complement to any athlete's training library
