    'Drink Lots of Fluids When Ill' -- Now Being Questioned
    Drinking plenty of fluids while suffering from a cold or respiratory infection could cause more harm than good, researchers said Friday in a report published in the British Medical Journal. Why so many people, including doctors, recommend drinking plenty of fluids when ill is not clear, but the authors state that the idea began in ancient times, and has never really been challenged. They also hope their findings will encourage other researchers to look more closely at the issue.
