Don't Take It On the Chin

Monday July 27, 2009
If you've ever been smacked in the jaw by a stray ball or flying elbow while playing sports, you probably know how essential a mouth guard is to keeping your teeth intake. Mouth guards should be considered mandatory safety equipment during sports that have any risk of injury to the face, jaw, and mouth.

The most effective mouth guards fit well and are comfortable, but they also stay in place, are durable, easy to clean and don't restrict speaking and breathing.

Head injuries in sports are a serious problem. Wearing a mouth guard is definitely important when you play! Keep your head protected with a Forcefield Headband if you are playing a sport in which helmets are not apart of the uniform. You don’t have to risk your health to play sports. Stay as safe as you can.
