Pre-Hab Programs Getting More Support

There is growing evidence that getting into shape with exercise before surgery results in a faster post-surgery recovery. The news reported on MEDLINE highlights the results of a study conducted at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Pre-hab before surgery is a concept that has it's roots in athletic training programs that focus on sports specific exercises in order to prevent injuries in athletes.
